Other musicians, enthusiasts, and critics widely regard him as the most excellent man in rock music. He would frequently go out of his way for the fan base, who describe him as generous, authentic, warm, caring, and genuinely interested in what they had to say, often having to spend hours after a music event or push event hobnobbing with fans and having a conversation with them on a variety of topics.
Fans, for their part, are often really respectful whenever Grohl needs time away to eat, sleep, or spend a few private times alone or with his family. Nonetheless, Grohl doesn’t often reject a fan who wished for an autograph or came up to say hello.
