On June 25, 1981, Sheridan Smith was born in Epworth and grew up there. While Sheridan was growing older, her mom and dad, Colin and Marilyn, performed as The Daltons, a Nation and West duo, and it wasn’t long before Sheridan became interested in it.

She began dancing at the age of four and singing with her parents when she was about seven. At the age of 14, she made her professional debut as the lead in the production of Annie.
