The primary usage of forged flanges is to connect valves, pumps, pipes, or other elements to set a piping system. It plays a massive role in installing piping systems and various industries because it has a significant load and strength capacity.

  3. Socket welding flanges: It is typically great for high-pressure pipes, smaller in size. The lines are inserted into the socket to attach the flange. It creates a better flow of gas or fluid inside the pipe.
  4. Blind flange: A blind flange is a weld to terminate the last part of the piping system; it is also functional as a seal of a nozzle opening on the pressure vessel. The blind flange does not have any bored center or any hub.
  5. Threaded flanges and lap joint flanges: Two of these are pretty similar as both flanges have holes that are great for attaching connecting bolts facilitating disassembly. Threaded flanges and lap joint flanges are suitable for a structure that needs to open regularly.
  6. Reducing flanges: Reducing flanges is great for connecting pipes of different sizes.
