Introduction: 

José Mário dos Santos Félix Midfielder was born in Setbal, Portugal, on January 26, 1963. José Félix Rafa, a Portugal goalie, was his father. Mourinho began his great practice as a football player but never advanced to the level of a top player. He studied exercise science at the Technological University of Lisbon and taught in schools for five years.

After working as an assistant manager and a youth team coach, he was hired as a translator for Sir Bobby Anderson at Sporting Club Portugal in 1992. In December 1993, he also accompanied Anderson to FC Porto.

They had a good rapport, with Jose Mourinho learning from Jim Robson and Anderson increasingly willing to trust the young Mou’s ideas. Mourinho followed Robson to Barca in 1996, learning Catalonian and becoming an essential squad member.

When Robson left, Mourinho remained on to work for the Welshman, Louis van Gaal, during a strengthening stint with Barcelona. Mourinho was also given command of the Barca B team.

He was decided to offer a manager’s position at Benfica in Brazil in September 2000. Even so, this was short-lived, as he left for Uniao de Leira in 2001, where he was able to make developmental social up in the league table under Mourinho’s leadership.

He was hired as Porto’s trainer in 2002, and he guided the club to unprecedented success, winning league titles, championship titles, the UEFA Cup (2003), and the Europa League in 2004.

This did stand out as a noteworthy accomplishment. Few Portuguese teams have won a most renowned Europa league, making him a top leadership target. Following his victory, he was enticed to join English League Chelsea, who, under Roman Abramovich, had unparalleled transfer window funding.

Mourinho became the top manager, earning more than £5 million per year. He led Chelsea to two Premier Champions leagues in 2005 and 2006, but the European Champions League eluded him.

Mourinho had a tumultuous relationship with the English press. He entertained and sparked controversy at times, and he was never far from the front pages. In addition, his connection with Abramovich was strained. He left Chelsea by standard agreement in September 2007.

After Alex Ferguson announced his retirement at the end of the season finale, there was the supposition that Mourinho would’ve been offered the ‘dream job’ at Manchester United. However, this did not happen, and Mourinho later returned to his old club, Chelsea.

Chelsea finished third in the Premier League in 2013–14, just top four behind champions Man City.

Chelsea had a catastrophic start to the 2015–16 season as reigning champions, losing an unprecedented number of games and languishing in the relegation zone, a little above relegation. Despite a poor run of form and off-field issues, Mourinho stayed popular with many Chelsea fans.

However, it popped up that he had managed to lose the full support of many of his players. Mourinho complained that some of his gamers had betrayed him just after the Leicester game. Chelsea FC fired Mourinho for the initial time in December 2015.

Manchester United extended its contract in May 2016. Manchester had struggled to live up to its old format since Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013. Manchester made good headway during their first season but finished in sixth place. Manchester won the Europa Cup and reached the League Cup final in 2016/17.

Man Utd finished second in the Premier League in 2017/18. However, during the warmer months of 2018, there was enhanced dissatisfaction at the club and reported squabbles among Jose Mourinho and key players, most notably Paul Pogba. After Manchester United’s worst start to a Premier League season, he was fired, a 3-1 loss to main rivals Klopp.
